My career as a jewelry designer began with the double-strand beaded necklaces I would make as a teenager and give to friends (those early seed bead designs would later inspire more sophisticated ones featuring beads sourced from around the world, like Japanese delica glass, brass from India and Ethiopia, and Indian carnelian). The collection grew to include other customer favorites, statement necklaces like African Amber and Solstice and bohemian classics like Hamia and Arinna.
As a Brooklyn jewelry designer, I proudly craft every handmade design in my Industry City Maker’s Guild studio with ethically sourced beads from around the globe.
From handmade jewelry and accessories (like the toggle necklace extender) to fair trade imports, with SASKIA jewelry every bead tells a story.
