Designed & Handmade In Brooklyn
Years ago, we left our lives behind to travel the world. We returned home with newfound inspiration and SASKIA was born. We design our jewelry using materials we source from around the globe.
Magic in the Ordinary
From the markets of Kathmandu to the Hill Tribes of northern Thailand, SASKIA designs are inspired by the unexpected moments in life: a chance encounter, an uncovered gem, a suprising new friend.
Every bead tells a story. Inspired by the world, handmade in Brooklyn.
My intro to Saskia's treasures were the silver pink chalcedony earrings. They are one of my favorites. They are light, sparkly and colorful. An everyday go to.My sis found Saskia's Kiosk in Grand Central years ago and gave me those for Christmas. I have since purchased pyrite silver circles and many other earrings and necklaces from Saskia. They are exquisite.Looking to get Carnelian next. I have the blue chalcedony in the larger drop earrings. All so beautiful!
The Purple Volta bracelet is unique and eye catching. The gold and purple bead combination work well together, neither color overpowers the other. I paired it with a river creek pendant which accentuated the tones in the pendant and small Himalayan earrings .
My discus earrings are dainty, yet sophisticated. I’m looking forward to dressing up to wear them for a special occasion!
My thin volta bracelet makes a nice and unique look with my other pieces!!!
I bought a kit each (in different colors) for me and my sister, who lives on the other side of the country. It was so fun to craft together from afar and daydream about when we may actually get to wear our DIY necklaces together! :)
Nothing but praise for Saskia and Scott - beautiful jewelry, great and personal customer service, and a site that is easy and fun to shop. A great place to visit for a pick-me-up that will be followed by a beautiful package arriving in the mail within days.
These earrings are exactly the right amount of bling to wear either with no other jewelry, with the Victoria and Sphinx, or many of my other Saskia necklaces. They are stylish and playful - love them!
I bought this as a layering piece , and it does that beautifully. I'm delighted at how much I love it on its own on a casual day. I use the brass extender so it is a little loser than a choker, and it's a great piece to wear everyday. Very happy!
Beautiful and versatile piece. Perfect combo with the Victoria and Triple Discus pieces I also just purchased. I have lost track of the number of Saskia pieces I own and treasure - but when I got this trio I still did a happy dance!
I added these to my "Saskia" collection and love the design and ability to mix with other pieces. The lapis color was a bit darker blue than I anticipated but I love them nonetheless and wear them happily!
I had a pair of these earrings that I purchased a few years ago, but lost one of them a few months ago. I loved these earrings so decided to order another pair and now very happy to be wearing them again! I've purchased numerous items from their kiosk and Christmas kiosk at Grand Central Station over the years (and discovered Saskia at an artisan show at the Lockwood Matthews Mansion in Norwalk CT, where I became an instant fan! Love the quality, colors, and ability to mix things up with the necklaces purchased.
This gorgeous necklace is perfect for an important meeting or jeans! I'll be wearing mine constantly!
I didn't see this necklace in person before buying it, but I thought it was beautiful when I saw the picture of it on-line. It is truly stunning! It's delicate and powerful at the same time. Love the symbolism of it. Ruby is my birthstone and these faceted rubies are sparkly and have a deep pink color. I can't wait till warmer weather when I can show it off more :)
It's gorgeous and the organic shapes of the silver beads are exactly the style I was looking for - though I didn't know it at the time. I bought this for my sister and will have a very hard time gifting it. - Lucky I bought 2!
I love the sparkle of the blue beads and the silver compliments them so well. It’s a beautiful piece.
