Although usually drawn to bigger and more elaborate designs, I love this simple chain necklace. The three Asarwa beads come from Ethiopia and are decorated with subtle yet eye-catching circular patterns. Each bead in our silver, gold, and mixed metal versions is chosen by hand in our Brooklyn studio. When each bead is that special, who needs more than three?

Delicate and different

I just received this great necklace, and know it will get a lot of wear. It goes with anything. I hadn’t realized that the Asawa beads could move on the chain, which I really like since the bands will always hang in the middle of the necklace. It’s a bit longer than is the usual for delicate necklaces, but I really like the 16” length.

Dainty

The Asarwa chain is great! I like that I can layer this necklace with some of the other chains in Saskia’s collection. This is a dainty and delicate piece that is perfect for any style!

Perfect gift

I gave these as gifts to work colleagues during the holidays. They looked great on everyone. They are simple and elegant...can be worn with casual and work clothes.
