With a collection of materials sources from Kenya and Ghana, I designed a necklace in subdued colors with a big presence. The Serengeti necklace features large recycled Ghanaian glass orbs and Kenyan pressed glass discs paired with wafer-thin bone discs and larger bone focal beads painted in black and white graphic patterns.

Beautiful workmanship. The individual beads are beautiful with an earthy Ed’s and warmth.

I have many Saskia’s wonderful and varied necklaces. When it comes to buying a gift I always want to share her creations. This necklace spoke to me for the person I wanted to gift it to… and of course it was perfect and they loved it!!
