- faceted onyx
- vintage Indian silver pendant
- silver toggle clasp
I had six of these beautiful vintage pendants I sourced from India. The intricately carved birds and branches made me think of a family tree. I loved them when I saw them but had never found the perfect way to use them. While looking through stones in my studio one day, I came upon this gorgeous faceted black onyx. There were just six strands. Six pendants, six strands––that sort of serendipity doesn’t happen often, and I knew it was meant to be. They were beshert, which in Yiddish means destiny and is often used to describe one’s soulmate.
Speaking of soulmates, it coordinates beautifully with the Neela necklace, too.
