    About SASKIA

Meet Saskia, our designer. She hand makes all of our jewelry in our Brooklyn studio using materials from around the world. Inspired by her travels, she creates unique designs, each with an individual story.

We believe that life is a journey of discovery; that connecting and learning from others enriches our life; and that appreciating craftsmanship and beauty elevates our experiences.

SASKIA channels the inspiration found in cultures around the world into original designs that resonate deeply with those who wear them. Made with materials sourced from people and places near to our heart - Africa, Asia, Europe and beyond - SASKIA seeks to bring the world closer together.

Our pieces are handmade in our Brooklyn studio at Industry City and can be found at upscale markets around the country as well as in the gift shops of the Rubin Museum of Art in Manhattan, The Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia and the Minneapolis Institute of Art.

    About Saskia de Vries

Meet Saskia, our designer. She hand makes all of our jewelry in our Brooklyn studio using materials from around the world. Inspired by her travels, she creates unique designs, each with an individual story. The daughter of Dutch parents, Saskia de Vries was the first person in her family to be born in America. This feeling of duality – of being rooted in multiple places – is what inspired Saskia to channel different characters through her work as an actress. And it is what continues to inspire the beautiful designs she creates for her company, SASKIA.

Informed by the travels she has taken with her husband and business partner Scott, Saskia’s pieces – from necklaces to earrings to bracelets – reflect a desire to connect the world through beauty. In her original designs, made with hand-selected materials from around the world, Saskia shares the stories of the places she has visited and makes connections that bring the world a little bit closer together.
