- round faceted carnelian
- gold vermeil spacers
- 24 kt gold plated Colombian pendant
- 16-18" adjustable
At the Tucson Gem Show, I befriended three women from Bogotà creating pendants, beads, and rings inspired by ancient Colombian artifacts. The horn-shaped pendant featured in this necklace is from the Zenú region of northwestern Colombia. I paired it with petite faceted carnelian, a stone with stabilizing and stimulating properties, to motivate positive action. Health, luck, and success are all thought to be virtues associated with the red-orange gemstone. Accented with gold vermeil beads, this delicate necklace is an ornamental good luck charm intended to warm the body and soul. Pendant measures 10mm x 14mm.
